Why Is Crystal Cleaning So Vital

The upkeep of crystals via (basic) housekeeping and 'cleansing are thought to
be the most important elements for maintaining the crystals and to make the most
of their crystal collecting experience.
However, it is it is a meditative and affirmative practice. While we purify
our crystals, psychologically, we are simultaneously relieving the stress,
tension and fatigue that we have generated by our human interactions and
obligations.
After we shower or venture outside to soak in the glorious sunshine weather,
we often feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Likewise, water and sunlight are both
natural elements employed to clean our crystalline counterparts.
Every crystals has
distinct mineralogical characteristics so as one's collection grows, other tools
and resources also play vital functions in maintaining our crystals.
5 methods to cleanse crystals
Water
It could be intimidating to new collectors, but the maintenance of crystals
is quite simple. When certain requirements are satisfied the use of water is a
good option to clean crystals of accumulated dust.
Make sure the mineral or crystal has a hardness (you can determine the Mohs
hardness scale by a quick Google search) of 5.0 or more. And if the hardness
qualifies, ensure the crystal does not contain metal (e.g. Hematite or
pyrite).
How to cleanse: Water cleansing is done by placing the crystal(s) under the
running tap water for 30 seconds and after that, dabbing the crystal with a
cloth or putting them aside to dry.
If not, using a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove the dust from our beloved
minerals (for those who are below 5.0 Mohs) should be the best option.
Other crystals
If you have a limited collection, crystals like selenite or clear quartz can
be used as tools of mineralization for the purification of other
crystals.
White selenite (also known as satin spar) is used to create decorative lamps
and bowls that can store smaller crystals and other equipment. Selenite is a
transparent Gypsum mineral with soft, romantic appeal that cleans other crystals
and provides peace for the user.
On the other hand the crystal's clear, unmistakable clarity clear quartz is
able to disperse the any cloudiness or high frequencies. The properties of clear
quartz that amplify enhance the cleaning process for other crystals.
Cleanse: Use crystals for cleanse. Generally, half to a whole day is needed
for this process.
Sage
The incense that is most commonly used for purifying crystals is the classic
white sage. The white smoke it emits doesn't only remove the bad 'jujus' , but
it also has antibacterial and antiviral properties.
Always choose sage that has been grown organically, since they are obtained
in a sustainable manner and don't contain harmful chemicals or metals. For those
who are more adventurous, you can discover sage in blue floral as well as dragon
blood varieties.
Palo santo
Palo Santo Wood is a definite favorite of our customers. When palo santo wood
that are of the highest quality are lit they quickly catch fire to expose the
oil-rich resin in the wood.
The scent is a relaxing pine scent with a hint of citrus. Palo Santo is a
pleasant scent that is nourishing for crystals. It can also be used to stimulate
our senses, especially for people who work remotely.
How to clean Incenses like palo santo or sage should be ignited and thrown
out to reveal white smoke that can be used to smudge. It is possible to place
the incense on a holding medium (e.g. Ceramic plate) and then use a free hand to
actively blow the smoke against the crystals or areas that they would like to
cleanse. After smudging, it is recommended to air-dry the area.
Singing bowl
Singing bowls can be beneficial to the wellness routines that incorporate
music therapy for chakra healing and meditation. The use of sound can help shake
off' the discordant frequencies of unseen electromagnetic frequencies by
allowing it to propagate into your space.
Hand-crafted metal singing bowls emit a wide range of sounds, making crystal
cleaning an enjoyable experience.
The study of cymatics (wave phenomena) is also a sign of the intrinsic
healing nature of sound. It is possible to create consistent geometric shapes
produced when a sound is vibrating at specific frequency. Crystals are made up
of solid matter with intricate geometric crystal. Healing
sounds made of hand-crafted singing bowls can help to reaffirm the natural
cohesion of crystals and minerals.
How to clean to cleanse better you can sing your way through a singing bowl. Small crystals and accessories can be placed in the bowl. Larger crystals and spaces are more efficiently cleansed using singing bowls that have diameters of 20cm or more. While it isn't easy to learn the basics of singing bowls, we are delighted to show them off and offer helpful tips to customers who visit our showroom.
